We teach young people how to code in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. We are a non-profit movement working to influence how technology education interacts with students from 7-17, parents, community partners.. and most importantly.. schools and teachers. I have a goal: to change how education functions and how personal data is administered within the life of a young person. I want to empower kids to own their own education, to control their own data, and to use their personal leverage to make this world work better. I am fully invested into entrepreneurial ed-tech; as a parent, as a citizen, as an occupation, and as a path of value in the lives of young people.

Dr. George Meadows, a Professor of Science & Makerspace-In-Education Pioneer within the College of Education at the University of Mary Washington, is passionate about introducing young people to the tools of scientific inquiry and engineering exploration, and works tirelessly to bring these advanced subjects to other educational leaders in our community.
I specialize in making, finding, selling and distributing developmental tools for educating young people. Whether innovating toys for developing our youngest minds, or innovating tech-based programs, I focus on delivering top quality experiences for kids and their families
I have a Masters from VCU and a Bachelors from UMW both in Computer Science. I'm a software engineer for the Navy by day and an adjunct professor for UMW's computer science department at night. The Dojo gives me a chance to introduce people to the world of making and I really enjoy seeing the unbridled enthusiasm from our students after each lesson.
My life is centered around my family and my kids. I am inspired by their discoveries, their achievements, and their passions. My goal is to ignite the fire of exploration and discovery in them and enable them to follow their passions. The Dojo is where I get to share my passion for technology and watch as that spark ignites in others.
